YouTube is a great place to promote products and services because of its huge audience, and its search-engine friendly layout.

It is impossible to predict which promotional videos will go viral and which will not, but even if a promotional video does not become a "YouTube hit" immediately, entertaining content will still allow any video to build up thousands of views over time. So, the sooner you jump in and make a splash on YouTube the better.

According to YouTube's Terms of Use it is permitted to...

"upload an original video to YouTube, or maintain an original channel on YouTube, to promote your business or artistic enterprise"
